The first arrivals into care this kitten season are mum, Sushi, and her three kittens, who are estimated to be 8 weeks’ old. This family of gorgeous white cats have come into care after the owner of a multi-cat household approached HFC to seek support with neutering, but who was struggling to cope with the number of cats and kittens she was trying to care for.

Taro (male) the largest of the kittens, can be re-homed as a single kitten and bonded brother and sister, Yuki and Kogi, would like a home together.  The kittens are available now to meet potential adopters and will be ready to go to their forever home after they are signed off from their vet procedures from 25 April. The kittens' potential adopters will need to be at home at regular intervals to maintain their feeding pattern of small meals and check they are not getting up to mischief or themselves into difficulties. The kittens, who are a little shy, have potential to either live with adults or a family with very respectful children, aged 8+.

We would also like to invite applications for mum, Sushi, who is estimated to be 2 years’ old. Whilst she has been a good mum to her kittens, she is becoming over-protective and will likely be happier once mum duties are complete and her kittens are re-homed.
